Everyone has heard that you need to have these basic items to be fashionable. White tee, jeans, heels, etc etc. But what really makes or breaks the outfit are the accessories you use. Create so many outfits using just the basics AND then adding a flair here and there. You can even express different styles depending on the combination of accessories you pair with each other.
White, oversized sleeve, statement tee worn with a pure button down denim skirt in pencil cut. Partnered with cute cat socks and white sneakers. Completed with a white sporty watch and the cutest Sailor Moon bag. I wore my hair down with a single golden hairpin on one side for a bit of style.
Very loose and very comfortable black jumpsuit with white native patterned details. Accessorized simply with a pair of stud earrings and silver colored watch. For the footwear, I opted for a white strappy sandals that feels comfortable and great for walking the whole day.
This Malaysia trip heavily pushed my mix and matching fashion skills to the limit. Bold, red, below-the-knee, heavy draped skirt paired with a black, thin strapped, light top. Tucking the top in the skirt helps produce a silhouette that accentuates the waist. For the shoes, I chose to wear a pair of white sneakers with the short colored socks peaking a bit. A black, leather backpack and rounded, reflective sunnies complete the look as accessories.
Mustard colored loose sweater underneath a black and white 90’s pattern inspired overalls. Worn with my travel cape of more patterns and matched with a fishnet stocking with an aztec inspired pattern. Paired with my favorite maroon boots. To accessorize, a long wool scarf that you can put your hands into to get warm, black leather sling bag, a pair of big golden stud earrings, and a black watch. I put my hair into a loose fishtail braid to emphasize that my hair’s colors are gradually changing from the roots going to the tip.
