It was 2011 and I was so excited to finally get my PADI Open Water Diver License. I passed all the skills tests and the written exams, I filled out the forms, and most of all, I had the best time of my life diving for the first time. The only problem was we weren’t able to mail the forms to PADI and we lost our forms.
So for the next 4 years, I wasn’t able to dive as I would have liked to. And I had a goal of becoming a Master Diver, but I couldn’t even get my first license. Then an opportunity came a-knocking on the window. My aunt wanted to get her Open Water Diver License and she was willing for my sister and I to tag along.
