Last year, before the rush of the holidays sweep us away with its sparkle, mistletoes, and food, I had taken an impossible challenge of not gaining weight. Last, last week I posted an update of the impa-si-bu-ru challenge. And noooow! This is the final update!! I do apologize that my update is 6 days late.
(No, I do not usually start with the introduction of dear readers, but today is a special day)
I AM SO SO SOOO PSYCHED TO ANNOUNCE, I DID THE IMPOSSIBLE THING AND DID NOT GAIN WEIGHT THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.
It’s not as good as actually *losing* weight, but HA! I’ll take it.
Though hellishly difficult, resisting devouring the delish food of the holidays have paid off. To all those who have laughed when I had asked how to not gain weight during the Holidays, I am the proof that it can be done!
It was the judgement day. My nerves were jangly and I was scared that I might have disappointed myself. I promised myself that if I gained weight, I would cut off all sweets this month. January 2nd, 2016, I stepped on my weighing scale and peeked. I breathed a BIIIIG sigh of relief.
It was at 100lbs! OMG! To be sure, I even stepped off and on the scale a few times to make sure it was correct. AND IT WAS!
This is a lot of exclamation points for a single post, but my heart is crying happy tears and I am dancing a jiggly jig to celebrate this momentous occasion.
There have been hurdles and a lot of scares, but it has come to pass and everything turned out really well. WHAT AM I SAYING! I MEAN WOOHOO! I SURVIVED THE HOLIDAYS WITH MY WEIGHT AND DIGNITY INTACT!
It is over! I can eat whatever I want now!
